Every day life passes us by in its own unique way, many will interpret it in an ordinary way; but only the artist can grasp the world in his own frame of mind. The photographer is a unique kind of artist; taking the unaltered form of existence and transforming it into what the photographer knows, dependant on his own unique paradigm. The photographer sees through the viewfinder as his own two eyes see; but even this is not ordinary. To become a true photographer, one must have an understanding and grasp onto their own personal existence. They strive to know what is not seen. The beaten path of visual existence is their aim; sharing it with the world is their goal. When that shutter clicks; the photographer has taken and given back. The ordinary existence is stolen and slain; and a creative fingerprint is released and reborn from the original sight. The photographer’s creativity is one of the most pure forms of human expression. What good is a world of such beauty if no one is there to express it how the individual sees it? I, photographer, choose to share my paradigm through the medium of my camera with everyone, showing them what I know.
